OUR PROCESS

We believe helping clients achieve their goals takes careful planning.

Throughout our lifetime, financial emergencies, health crises, and even premature death are possible, any of which could dramatically impact our lifestyle and goals.

We want clients’ financial security plans to help them withstand these risks regardless of when they might occur. I collaborate with clients to create a financial security plan that addresses their concerns in four key areas: Financial security at death, Liquidity, Retirement, and Living benefits.

Our Strategic Process

Your financial security plan will be tailored to your needs, risk tolerance and the goals you wish to achieve. The process I follow to create each financial security plan includes:

Fact Find

Gaining a clear understanding of clients’ goals and dreams.

In this initial phase we will collect all the relevant information we need to begin the process. We will ask you a series of questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of your goals and dreams. This meeting will allow you to paint your perfect picture, and for us to address any questions, or concerns you may have.

We will need you to provide us:

• Current Investment and Mortgage statements.

• Most recent Notice of Assessment.

• Pay stubs or Business Financials

• Group retirement savings, and pension statements.

• Details on existing Life insurance and Living Benefits policies.

• CPP Estimates (Access through My Service Canada account)

• List of current liabilities

• Copies of current Wills and Power of Attorney

Planning

Analyzing the situation and identifying gaps.

In this phase of the process, we use all the information gathered in the fact-find phase and take it back to do what we do best, plan for your future.

We will analyze all information gathered to identify any gaps in your plan, from here we will begin to develop your comprehensive, personalized solutions to fill those gaps, and accomplish your goals and dreams.

We will address your plan gaps in our 4 key areas:

Financial Security at Death: Who would be financially impacted if I died tomorrow? Do I have enough coverage in place to provide the lifestyle I envision for them?

Liquidity: Do I have the funds available to handle a financial emergency if it were to arise? Where would these funds come from?

Retirement: Do I have enough funds to provide the lifestyle I envision in retirement?

Living Benefits: Your biggest asset is your ability to earn a paycheck. What happens if an illness or disability were to prevent that? How would that alter the rest of my financial plan?

Recommendation

Building your personalized, comprehensive, financial security plan to help you achieve your short- and long-term goals and presenting solutions to fill the gaps in your current plan.

In this phase, we continue to build on all the information gathered, and build your personalized financial security plan. Our plan will outline your current situation and compare it with our personalized approach.

We will review our recommendations to your plan in-depth and highlight how this helps you achieve your short- and long-term goals. This gives us the opportunity to see the power of our recommendations to your plan and how it will fill the gaps.

From here, we would implement the recommendations. We handle everything form start to finish, and pride ourselves on making this process as seamless as possible for you.

Review

Reviewing your financial security plan regularly to help ensure it continues to meet client needs. Client situations change over time, as should your financial plan. We will meet regularly to ensure your plan is still meeting your needs. Our annual reviews will help ensure your plan is performing as it should and give us the opportunity to make adjustments as required.
